Courtland Goolsby is Managing Principal at Jovel Group. With nearly 20 years in commercial real estate finance, he has underwritten $8.0B+ in total capitalization and closed approximately $1.0B in debt transactions. Courtland advises Family Offices, Debt Funds, Developers, and Brokers — helping them evaluate and structure deals across multifamily, office, retail, hospitality, and condominium projects.
Before founding Jovel Group, Courtland served as Vice President at Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Group, where he originated CMBS, balance sheet, and bridge loans. He began his career at Amegy Bank in 2008, managing distressed loan workouts and originating construction loans. He holds a Finance degree from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business.
